As a first generation Indian American (and the oldest of four girls), Hetal had the privilege of being her immigrant parents' experiment child. All rules first tested on her were subsequently thrown out for Sisters 2, 3, and 4. She's not mad, though - those experiences are great story fodder.

With BAs in English Literature and Communications from Ohio State, Hetal is a Product Manager by day and a spinner of chaotic Desi fantasies by night (after her two kiddos are tucked in).

Hetal's dark fantasy and horror works center on Desi diaspora characters who become their own champions as they face creatures from Indian myth.
